Reach greater depths, make bigger waves, and disrupt the status quo with Nike Swim. Every great athlete begins by breaking the surface.


A new conceptual collection of athletic apparel, belonging to the most aquatic, and anticipated sub-branding for Nike.

The Challenge

As part of the 10 week Branding course at FIDM, we were tasked to conceptually create or redesign any existing sub-branding for a company.


With my roots in Oregon and a childhood practically raised around water sports and lakes, not to mention the close proximity to NIke's big HQ in Beaverton, designing aquatic apparel, marketing, and branding for NIke was a no-brainer. The main challenge was making it feel authentic to the already established branding and identity.

The Solution

Nike Swim is the newest addition to the Nike family, introducing exciting new products and accessories to get you out and onto the water. This brand development explores the product lines for multiple water sports, including water polo, stand up paddleboarding, surfing, free diving, and more. Nike Swim takes full advantage of an untapped market, currently under-explored in their current company management.
